- Big people have big ideas - We believe that God wants us to dream big. We don’t set small goals or dream ordinary dreams; rather we reach for the seemingly impossible and look to God to guide us as a community.
- We embrace our culture - Instead of running from our culture, we run to it! We believe that God loves a creative imagination, paintings, music, books, ideas, coffee (He reeeeally loves coffee!!) and many other aspects in how we choose to spend our time. We want to be involved in the mix in all that our community is doing and where they are gathering because that is what Jesus did!
- We love change - We believe at Revolve that God is in the “new”. One day there will be a new heaven and a new earth. Our God is a God that loves to create and be creative and in the “new” He often does some amazing things. So, being created in His image, we embrace change and revel in the “new”.
- We need your seat - We are more interested in reaching those far from God than catering to personal preference. Although we bring community to the forefront of all we do, we simply value reaching those far from God the most!
- We are momentum junkies - We will be continuously increasing our capacity by structuring ourselves on where we want to go, not where we are. We want to remain on the edge of momentum because we believe that is where the “new” is and the creativity happens.
- Numbers, numbers, and numbers - We will unapologetically be about the numbers. We believe that part of being a healthy organization is knowing when we are winning and when we are losing. We will use tracking metrics to measure effectiveness.
- What we are FOR - We want to be a place of encouragement and we want to speak vision and life over people. Our mission is not to condemn, but rather lift people up by the saving power of Jesus.
- Simplicity breeds excellence - We will be about three things at Revolve; 1.)Community, 2.)Family, and 3.)Marriage. Everything we push and elevate will fall under one of these three elements. We keep it simple!
- We like to rock out - We place a disproportionate amount of time, energy and money on the weekend experience because we believe that it matters. It will be fun, it will be relevant, and it will be exciting!
- Everyone has a place at the table - We believe, as Jesus taught us, that everyone is important and so we welcome all who want to come and do life with us. You are God’s dream come true and we honor that by respecting each person regardless of what sin or problem you have in your life. We believe that if you get around God and his followers that love him, you will experience the changes in your life that you are being led to make. Bring it!!! We can handle it!!!!
- No water necessary - We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and if it makes you uncomfortable then that is okay. We will never water down the truth to make someone feel more comfortable. It is what it is!!
